Isn't flying fun?

Ben and I took a trip to the SW corner of Kansas to visit the Liberal Air Museum in Liberal, Kansas. Ben loves airplanes and you can imagine how much he loved to see "all the planes, Daddy!"

I think this one's a keeper (above). What a great shot!

We saw a lot world-record setting aircraft and a couple retired fighters. They were all crammed into a large hangar - hundreds of them all under one roof!

It was neat to park on the same ramp so close to the big guns.

I'm fairly certain Ben had a good time and wore himself out running around. It was a long day, but well worth it!

I see Tigger and a cute Mouse!

Happy Halloween!!
Our boys had a blast! All our neighbors (in the cul-de-sac) got together and had a fire pit and ate snacks and s'mores and passed out candy from a central table. It was a trick-or-treat jackpot!.

But before we jumped into all the fun, we took the boys around to trick-or-treat house-to-house down our street.
Our neighbor 3 houses down loves the boys and had special little orange bags specifically for our boys with a special prize in them. He put a gift coupon book from McDonald's in their little bags with some extra candy. He had their own names on the gift coupon booklet too... he is such a sweet man... a grandpa away from home!

Enjoy these pics of the boys this Halloween, we sure had a wonderful time!

Here are some closeups of the boys so you can get a better look at their costumes, even though they were taken indoors.
Yes, this is the same costume that he wore two years ago (you can imagine it was big on him then). He tried on four different costumes and chose Tigger because it had a tail.

This is from the trunk-or-treat on Thursday

too busy!

I just don't have the time to do this blog thing. I will continue to try.

The family is well, Ben is growing like crazy, and talking up a storm. He hasn't always enjoyed watching TV, he would watch for a min. or two, then be off to get in to some trouble. But, he is loving Dora, Blue's Clues, Max and Ruby, and some movies that we have, and is a fan of everything on PBS. For a while we were on a kick, of watching only Christmas movies, but he as moved on. He loves sweets and chips, so no he is not a good eater. He was when he was a baby, but if we tell him,"this is what is for dinner, you eat or go hungry", he will go hungry.
I wonder who he gets his strong will from?(DADDY)!!!

Van is teething, Yuck- for everyone, but is still a happy boy. He can hold his own with his big brother, and sometimes gets some cheap shots in, when Ben isn't looking,(those are really funny)!

Bryce is still flying and LOVING, if-me not so much. He is a trooper with supporting me with all my busy callings, and Volleyball on Thursday nights and doing hair sometimes in the evening and some Saturdays, we DJ the dances together, and even some dates. He is a wonderful husband!

I am obviously busy. I was just called last month, at pretty much the same time, as young women president in our ward, and assistant camp director, I play v-ball on Thursday nights and part-time hair dresser out of my basement! I work out with a friends at the YMCA every morning and LOVE it, and a full time mommy and wife, yes I still manage to have a hot meal on the table, GO ME!!

So, I hope all of this is satisfying since it has been a log time since our last blog entry. We are surviving! Life is busy but at least Van still naps!

Happy Birthday Van!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY VAN!!! He is now 1 year old! Such a big boy. He is about 20 lbs, not too sure how long, but he is growing fast and eating everything in sight...( what ever Ben leaves on the floor). He loves to shout out loud, "DaDa", especially in the stores, where he as an audience. He is such a fun kid. He makes us laugh everyday...He can take a punch and fights back when big bro gets a little rowdy. We are so blessed to have him in our family...

We love you Van!
Van and big brother Ben. Ben was very excited to be in the picture with the Birthday boy, how he's loving icing right now.
Yummy cup-cake.. Ben picked out the strawberry cake. Van didn't really care, he'll eat anything. He liked it, as you can see!

Boys are CRAZY!

So, I am so not good at this blogging thing...I just don't seem to have the time. But, I'll try harder.

Van was already in his jammies, when I was giving Ben his bath, and he wondered in. He loves to splash in the water. I turned to get a towel for Ben and he fell in.. clothes and all. I thought that was so funny. He couldn't reach the water as well as he wanted to, so he took a dive...
He loves to do this. We say "Ben that's gross", and he says, " No Momma, I like it." He cracks us up every day.

I know that every baby gets dirty when they eat, but I just thought he was so cute. He did of course put his not so clean hands in his hair. too cute

Still Here...

The best one, out of many...he just gives me silly faces most of the time.
Van, being cute before church!

Hello all, we are still here. Man, the summers are so busy. My hair business has kept me on my toes. I have also been trying to hit the YMCA every day, clean my house, fix dinner, play with the kids, keep Bryce happy, and on the weekends I put my cape one and save the world. One bottle at a time!

Yes, Van is taking a bottle now and eating from the table. YEAH!!! It only took him 10 months to figure it out. I was getting nerves, I didn't want to take him to my high school reunion...

The boys are so cute together. They are really starting to play well together. And they both like TV!!! Life saver! You know when you really need to get the dishes done or clean the tub...

Hope all of you are well. That all the moves have gone well or at least have plenty of help. Moving is no fun!!! We plan to stay put for a while, till some land pops up and we are ready to grab it... oh, and have the money for it too...

well that is us for now, I hope to get better at this blogging thing, really!
